"Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, "Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!" And God granted him what he requested." (1 Chronicles 4:10)
Praise God for His precious Holy Spirit. Word of God is written by the leading of Holy Spirit and 1 Chronicles starts with Adam and God really want to remind us one specific person by name Jabez. Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother named him Jabez saying, "Because I bore him with pain."
Jabez life was full of sorrow and pain. We find that he was a praying man. The way to be truly great, is to seek to do God's will, and to pray earnestly. He asked God to enlarge his territory, God's hand to be with him, asking God to keep him away from evil. God granted him. Praise God! Jabez was a humble man and God rewarded him and also He tells us that He cares for each and everyone of us. Glory to God! He sees the heart.
Today, if you are in a painful situation or do you think that your whole life is full of failure and sorrowful like Jabez' life? Let not your heart be troubled, turn your eyes to Jesus. He who answered the prayer of Jabez will surely answer our prayer. Let's pray.
Dear Lord Jesus, I pray for the one who is meditating this message. Lord, transform the life and bless abundantly. Let every problems and sorrow be changed. Fill with your joy and peace. In Jesus name! Amen! Believe! Receive!
