John 15:16
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
What does God mean by bearing fruits : Gal 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Jesus tell us to put these attitudes together and when that happens we have :
Positive Results -- constructive results
positive relationships --- friends family marriage
Positive reactions --- reaction form others
positive re-enforcement --> when you encourage , others will encourage you in turn
positive rejoicing -->
==> Jn 15:11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
==> People have the wrong notion of JOY , they seek for joy.
==> Put the right principles into practice and Joy will be its by-product .

if Paul can say " I can do everything through him who gives me strength." so can i
Our God is the creator of the earth , sun moon, our galaxy other galaxies More than you can imagine !! and this very same God had decided to come and live in us . We have a start breathing God living on the inside of us .
We attempt very little cause we keep in mind our own capability
All giants are weak men who did great things because they relied on His power and His Presence
Our Owner :
If Jesus is the source , he Father is the caretaker of the vineyard
A care taker takes personal interest , He takes personal interest in you when you decide to remain in the source .
He is the owner , so you can be rest assured for complete protection .
He Takes personal intrerest on each branch on each leaf
Ownership makes the difference , God Owns us so wen he look ate our lives he looks at it as an investment .
Our Pruning :
One thing the wine dreser does it prunes the branches , so that those branches bear even more fruit .
He has the true technical know how and reasons behind pruning , things a tree wouldnt understand .
He cuts away whant ever is keep ing us from becoming the person we really want to become .
Our Partnership:
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself
if you detach yourself from the wine you stop bearing fruits , you get misled .. sin .. etc
if anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned
connect with the vine and every thing will be fine
Partnering with an awesome God (, the Creator or all Creators , King of al Kings , Lords of all Lords ) got to give you a bit of confidence .
Our Promises:
If ( you remain in me and my words abide in you ) ( then , ask what ever you wish and it will be given to you.) ( this is a conditional promise )
Ps 37 :4 " Delight you self in the lord and He will give you the desires of your heart .( see delight come before desire )
so often we lack desire cause our delight is not great enough.
Our Purpose :
we have the potential to be fruitful because of our purpose .
" It is to my Fathers glory that you bear much fruit, showing your self to be my disciples."
YOU WERE CREATED TO BEAR FRUITS.
jn 15:16 you did not chose me buy I chose you to bear fruit fruit that will last .
What are the fruits : love , joy peace patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness and Self control
"you are the salt of the earth and the light of the world ,.... let you light shine before men that they might see you and praise your father in Heaven .
you can only give fruits to other when you are living a fruitful life inwardly,
Our Obedience :
"If we remain in him and He in us Then we will bear much fruit "
All we need to do is plug in the wine.
" A Good tree cannot bear bad fruits and a bad tree cannot bear good fruits."
" if you make the most hight you deweling then no harm will come near you no disaster will come near your tent , for he will command his angles concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Formula for living a fruitful life
A Three words formula : Remain Receive and Reproduce .
John 15 : says if we remain in him we will begin to receive from him and start living fruitful lives and we are encouraged and now we have within us a storage of encouragement that we can give to others. we begin to reproduce.
A meaning full prayer :
1) commit you self to live a productive lifestyle : Lord i make up my mind that and crave for the desire within me to live a fruitful Christian
2) Follow the formula for fruitfulness : Lords i pray that today i commit to REMAIN in you , i commit 15 min daily in a relationship with you , . I also make up my mind to receive and to be encourage from your inspirational word, your love letter to me .
3) [ make a list of thing that you are going to do . that you are going to sow in the soil of you life , that in one year or 5 yrs it will return to you 10 30 and 100 fold . make that commitment now ]
4) [ list some positive, some blessing that you have received in you life , i am sure you will have many , they remind you of the lords hand already at work in you life ]
