Jesus is looking for Christians, disciple is some one is committed follower of Jesus Christ .
what is the process that one becomes a disciples .
matt 4 : 18 22 -- he has called them frm all walks of life .. I will make you , i will mold you .
1) He had them be with him .. I want you to be with me . there were multitudes who came to hear his sermons , but there were only 12 that lived with him , traveled wth him . 3.5 yrs wth him. they ministered with him , journeyed with him .. this lift a lasting impression with them ( acts 4:13 )
2) they were together as a team , they interacted with each other .. they learn from each others mistakes . You need to be part of a group .
3) He sent them out to do what ever he taught them . He sent them out . Sent them out 2 by 2 . You just don't keep hearing .. and reading .. but you go out there and spread what you learn .
4) they learnt in their experience and mistakes . they learnt from Jesus ..how he handled situations . He learn from His Faith .
5) He never gives up on his disciples .
the HolySpirit multiples his presence .. i will not abandon
1) i spend time with Jesus in this Word and prayer in the presence of the HS . Are you spending time with Jesus . Are you practicing the presence of Jesus.
2) Fellowship with other believers Heb 10:25:26
3) Share you faith .. do what ever you can to serve God . He has given gifts , you are gifted , use those gifts .
4) follows the lord through all of life experiences, sometimes there are mountains we face , there are challenges , there are temptations , but if you determine to follow him through all of life experiences you are going to shaped , molded and come out as a disciple . You are being shaped in the things you go through Monday thru Saturday. Every things you go thought Monday to Saturday ... is the process of molding you to be a disciple . Rom 5 : 3,4,5
5) He never gives up on Us .
